Lake Arrowhead Swim and Tennis

Red Cloud Park is Lake Arrowhead’s current recreational center that features a unique arrowhead shaped pool and 4 tennis courts. There is a deck area with lounge chairs, restrooms, and a gazebo with picnic tables. There are active tennis programs for all ages. An expansion of the park is proposed, which would make it 9 acres in size and add more tennis courts.

The Great Festival Park is planned to open in 2008 and will feature a junior olympic pool, sand volleyball, basketball, playground, and batting cages. There is also a multi-use grassy play field with an old fashioned “tumble hill” for younger children. It will be a 40 acre park site, and the plans include a bathhouse, game room, art and craft area, snack bar and outdoor theater for children. Swimming and tennis activities, as well as fitness classes and equipment are also offered at Lake Arrowhead. Some of the specific amenities are in the planning stages and may be modified.
